Amarone della Valpolicella Corte Manara 2017
Amarone della Valpolicella Corte Manara 2017. Alcohol content 16% vol. Made from 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, Molinara and 10% other grape varieties. Aging lasts for 2 years in 7 to 23 hectolitre oak barrels, then for 18 months in steel vats and another 6/12 months in bottle. The colour is impenetrable ruby red. It offers intense notes of bottled grapes and blueberries, mulberries, cinchona, vanilla, eucalyptus, dried flowers, chocolate and sweet spices. Robust body with sweet tannins, spices and fresh mineral hints. Long fruit finish in the mouth with hints of cinchona. Wine with an excellent density. It best expresses itself with Monte Veronese Stravecchio cheese or with beef ossobuco (sliced veal shank).
